Who we are
Learn To Win Academy ("LTW", "we", "I") is a free forex education project operating at learntowinacademy.com. For any privacy question, email our contact address — I read these myself.
What we collect
When you fill in the sign-up form, we collect:
- Your full name — so the emails aren't addressed to "Hi there".
- Your email address — required, this is where the lessons go.
- Your mobile number — optional. Only used for seminar reminders if you give it.
- Your experience level and your reason for learning — optional context that helps me pitch the lessons at the right level.
- Basic usage events — anonymous counts like page views, which buttons get clicked, and whether a form was started. No third-party advertising trackers, walang Facebook Pixel.
We never ask for financial information — no bank details, no card numbers, no broker logins, no trading account credentials. If anyone claiming to be LTW asks you for these, it is not us. Report it to me immediately.
Why we collect it
One reason: to send you the free lesson emails you signed up for, plus occasional announcements about free seminars. That's it. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to sell you anything — walang ibinebenta dito.
The legal basis is your consent, which you gave by ticking the consent box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below).
Who else touches your data
To run the emails and store sign-ups, we use a small number of established service providers, and only for those purposes:
- Brevo — stores your contact details and sends the lesson emails. It records whether emails were opened or clicked, so I can tell which lessons are actually landing.
- Supabase — the database that holds sign-ups and anonymous site events.
- Netlify — hosts the website itself.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever. If that ever changed, it would require asking you again — not a quiet edit to this page.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your contact is marked as unsubscribed and we stop emailing you. If you'd rather be deleted entirely, just ask and I'll remove your record — walang tanong, walang "are you sure" ten times.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Have anything incorrect fixed
- Have your data deleted
- Withdraw your consent and stop the emails
- Object to how we're using your information
To use any of these, email our contact address. No special format needed — a one-line message is fine.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and the emails stop immediately — hindi kailangang mag-explain. You're always welcome back later.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores one or two small flags in your browser's local storage — for example, to remember that you've already seen the sign-up popup so it doesn't nag you twice in the same visit. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Age requirement
Learn To Win Academy is strictly for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, email me and I'll delete the record.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. For anything significant, I'll tell you by email rather than hoping you re-read this page.
